Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage works to relieve tension from the deepest layers of your muscles where there is discomfort, focusing on realigning muscles and connective tissue. Firm pressure is more localized, focusing on restoring balance and decreasing stiffness, and muscle pain. Connective tissue will be released through slow strokes and deep pressure. This can be a localized service or full body treatment. Deep tissue massage is recommended for those individuals with chronic pain. Signature massage is a customized experience using a blend of therapeutic techniques to address the preferences of the individual needs, and manipulate the superficial layers of the muscles, targeting relaxation, relieving muscle tension, and improving circulation. A signature massage is known for its light to moderate gentle pressure known to be soothing. This full-body massage is known to decrease stress, anxiety, insomnia, depression, and other conditions.

Medical Massage

Medical massage, also known as clinical or orthopedic massage is a specialized local treatment specifically for regions of the body with chronic pain due to previous injuries and medical conditions such as sciatica, piriformis syndrome, tennis elbow, rotator cuff injuries, frozen shoulder, tendonitis, arthritis, drop foot, carpal tunnel, thoracic outlet syndrome and many more conditions not listed here. This massage uses deep friction techniques, active and passive stretch, and other massage tools necessary, to release myofascial, reduce inflammation, reduce nerve compression, and increase range of motion. This is not a full body service and should be scheduled with follow-up visits to continue treatment for optimal relief. Medical massage is used as a complementary therapy alongside conventional medical treatments for post-surgical recovery, and sports injuries. Medical massage is non-invasive and does not require a prescription or referral.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

MLD focuses on stimulating the lymphatic system to promote the flow of lymph fluid, waste removal, and fluid balance. Massage techniques are gentle and rhythmic using light pressure strokes, and slow movements directed toward lymph nodes. MLD is beneficial for individuals with lymphedema, lymphatic congestion, post-surgical swelling, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, and other autoimmune disorders.
